What nonprofits are eligible to register with Good Deeds?

To be eligible to use Good Deeds, you must be a U.S. nonprofit public charity (not private foundation) with 501(c)(3) status and a claimed GuideStar nonprofit profile. GuideStar helps us verify your organization’s eligibility. If you have not claimed your GuideStar profile, follow these steps to do so. Keep in mind, the GuideStar application review time is 2-3 business days and you. Once approved, return to Good Deeds to claim your nonprofit account here. 

As a values-driven organization, we also vet nonprofit partners for alignment with our values. We choose to not partner with organizations that engage in, support, encourage, or promote: 

• intolerance, discrimination or discriminatory practices based on race, color, gender, gender expression, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age; 
• hate, terrorism, bullying, or violence; 
• money laundering; other illegal, deceptive, or misleading activities.

As long as your organization is registered with GuideStar, meets our eligibility requirements and values, any shopper can support your organization via the Good Deeds app.
